Our stylish resort
is located on 50 acres of tropical gardens
amidst tall swaying palm trees. It is idyllically
fronted by a stretch of white sand beach
and the alluring turquoise blue lagoon.
The resort borders on an 18-hole championship
golf course and has a fabulous treatment
spa, set privately deep in the bush, away
from any hustle and bustle.
This site is special
in that it is one of the first places the
Polynesian migrants ever set food on the
Samoan islands some 3,000 years ago. In
keeping with tradition, the resort sports
an authentic ancient Samoan design, with
high, carved beams gracing the open-air
lobby.
The foyer opens up
onto a spacious restaurant and bar area
(there are five restaurants and two bars
to choose from), and to the swimming pool
and swim-in pool bar. The architecture blends
in beautifully with the magnificent views
of the blue and green lagoon and of Samoa's
sister islands Savaii, Apolima and Manono
on the horizon. In fact, wherever you are
are on the property, you'll have a view
of either the ocean, the golf course or
both.
Manaia Spa,
set privately in dense bush just to the
right of the resort, offers a variety of
unique treatments, using traditional Samoan
techniques and freshly prepared fruit and
plant concoctions from their jungle garden.Their
beautiful open-air treatment rooms are the
ideal place to refresh and relax your body,
mind and soul, surrounded only by the sound
of water trickling down the natural water
features and soothing bird song.
